A short but steep climb brings you to Barafu, the final base before the summit attempt. Enjoy early dinner and rest in upgraded tents before the midnight ascent.

Begin summit bid at midnight. Trek past Stella Point (5,756m) to Uhuru Peak at sunrise. Celebrate at Africa’s Roof, then descend via Barafu to Mweka Camp. This is the longest but most rewarding day.
