To book a Kilimanjaro or safari tour, you must provide accurate personal and payment information. Our terms regarding bookings, deposits, and cancellations are binding upon confirmation.
We accept payments via credit card, bank transfer, and other methods listed on our website. Once received, you will be notified within 72 hours. Please ensure all bank details are entered correctly, and share the SWIFT advice to info@kilimanjaroexperience.com as proof of transfer.
DKE confirms your booking only after receiving full payment. Invalid or incomplete details may void the reservation.
We require a non-transferable deposit of 30% to reserve a tour. The balance is due 90 days before your departure.
All cancellations must be submitted via email to info@kilimanjaroexperience.com. Refunds, where applicable, may be reduced by bank charges and incurred expenses.
DKE highly recommends obtaining travel insurance that covers health, cancellations, flight issues, and unforeseen circumstances including COVID-19 and other emergencies. No refunds will be given for unused services such as meals, transfers, or accommodations. Tour prices may increase due to airfare, park fees, taxes, or exchange rates. DKE reserves the right to amend itineraries when necessary.
Your safety is our priority. We provide safety equipment and training, but it is your responsibility to follow all guidelines issued by your physician and DKE’s team. You must comply with all safety instructions given by our guides or agents during your tour.
We are committed to responsible, eco-conscious travel. By joining DKE, you agree to respect and follow sustainable practices throughout your experience.
Acclimatization may be recommended, and we assume you are physically fit and prepared for altitude challenges. Recommendations for acclimatization are made to ensure your safety, not as medical guarantees.
We provide a range of accommodation options, from lodges to tented camps. While we book and recommend services, we are not liable for third-party service issues or their suitability.
We may change accommodation due to availability, renovations, or service improvements at our discretion.
DKE is not responsible for any third-party expenses not included in your package, such as visas, vaccinations, personal gear, souvenirs, or extra nights before/after your tour.
Medical travel insurance is mandatory. It should cover personal accidents, illness, belongings, and valuables such as cameras, money, or telescopes.
